Media

Media is the study and practice of Mass Media Communication including Film, Television, Internet, Radio, Photography, Magazines and Newspapers. Students at Dianella Secondary College, learn how media is created and how it functions in society. In all years, students create their own media productions.

Senior School
Students can enrol in a Year 11 & 12 Media Production and Analysis at a General or ATAR level, depending on their future endeavours.
In 2019, Senior School Media students will have the option to complete a Certificate II in Media in line with the Media Production and Analysis course.
 
Lower School
Year 7-10 students analyse and produce media elements such as video, film, photography, stop motion animation, radio and music videos.
 
Other
Students have the opportunity to enter their media productions in numerous competitions, as well as have them screened at the annual Arts Night.
