Working with Wood

The importance of wood, sustainability of world forestry reserves and the global effects of urban developments is the starting point for the Working with Wood program.  Students learn about the uniqueness of each type of wood, technical skills and how to use modern and industry compliant machinery.

As students progress through the curriculum Year 7 - 12, they are encouraged to develop their individual creative skills, technical knowledge, problem solving skills and collaborative team work, as well as employability attitudes and behaviours.
