Our Library

Dianella Secondary College Library is a welcoming, dynamic and inclusive hub for the school community.  Our focus is on supporting and enriching the school’s teaching and learning programs, ensuring the information needs of the students are met, and promoting a strong reading culture.
 
The library is equipped with desktop and laptop computers, printing, photocopying and scanning facilities for student use.  Resources include reference books, World Book Online, newspapers, magazines, careers guides and a large fiction collection.  The library has a comfortable reading area where students can enjoy great books in a relaxed environment.  Students are also welcome to make use of board and card games during Lunch 2.  
 
The library catalogue can be accessed both at school and at home.

We acknowledge and respect the Whadjuk Noongar people, the traditional custodians of the boodja (land) on which we work and live. We recognise their continuing connection to the boodja, bilya (rivers), ngamma (waterholes) and karda (hills) and we pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging.
