The Smith Family

Dianella Secondary College has close ties with The Smith Family. Their scholarship programs "Learning for Life" and "Saver Plus" support many families at our school.

They continue to run an after school Film & TV Club with the Arts Department as well as the Certificate I in Financial Literacy with the Maths Department. Both of which are excellent opportunities for students at Dianella Secondary College.

In partnership with the Dianella Education Precinct, The Smith Family has developed a School Community Hub initiative, to provide a more integrated support for disadvantaged students. This includes a program aimed at:
  • improving participation and academic outcomes 
  • generating greater parental and community engagement
  • creating early intervention and prevention programs to assist students' academic journey.
