USING CONNECT FOR REMOTE LEARNING

Connect allows you to communicate easily with your teachers and stay informed about school activities and events. Engage in learning anytime, anywhere and on any device and securely access marks and feedback. To get started, please download the guide. Alternatively, if you are a parent and would like to use connect, please see the following guide.

These resources have been made available by the Department of Education Western Australia in response to COVID-19 on 31/03/2020 for your educational purposes. Do not distribute these resources for any other purpose.

CONNECT FOR STUDENTS

  1. Log in to connect via https://connect.det.wa.edu.au/
  2. You’ll be taken to the Department of Education’s login portal. Use your student username and password to log in.
  3. ([email protected])
  4. Use the classes tab to navigate to each of your spaces as content from teachers will be posted here.

CONNECT FOR PARENTS

  1. Log in to connect via https://connect.det.wa.edu.au/
  2. User name and password
    Type your user name (P-number) and password into the text boxes. The username is comprised of a lowercase “p” followed by a seven-digit number.
    Note: the P Number and password will have been emailed to you by your child’s school. If you wish to retrieve your P-number, click here Forgot Your Password (det.wa.edu.au)
  3. Parent/Responsible persons
    Click the Appropriate Use link to access the specific Terms of Use for Connect.
  4. Appropriate Use
    Tick the ‘I have read …’ box to agree to use the Department’s online services in an appropriate way.
  5. Forgot Password
    Click the Forgot Your Password link if you can’t remember your login details.
