NAIDOC DAY

​This Term, the Dianella Education Precinct celebrated NAIDOC Day, an important event in the school calendar to recognise Indigenous culture within our community. On the day, the DSC Education Support Centre hosted an assembly, where Community Member, Len Yarran, gave the key note address about the importance of Education.  Dianella Secondary College students performed a traditional Indigenous Dance and Natasha Eldridge sang in Noongar language.  The WA Reptile Park also held an information session about Australian Wildlife in the lecture theatre and students got up close and personal with Australian snakes.
