In Week 9, Dianella Secondary College celebrated “R U OK?” Day. The aim of the event was to raise awareness of the importance of talking about mental illness and checking up on your loved ones. Students we treated to “R U OK? Day” wristbands. They also participated in fun form activities to discuss the importance of talking about mental health. The Senior School band also played at lunchtime. Our Certificate II in Hospitality students baked delicious cupcakes to fund raise for the cause. They raised approximately $400! Well done!
