This term, Year 7 – 10 students have been participating in swimming lessons in their Phys Ed classes. These swimming lessons are run by the Royal Lifesaving Society WA (RLSSWA) who has provided two swimming instructors daily. They also incorporated girls only and lifesaving sessions into their program for our students and will be running lifesaving events the Kooyar Carnival. In addition to this they have been conducting sessions for Dianella Primary College and Dianella Secondary College Education Support Centre, teaching over 400 students within the Dianella Education Precinct this year alone. There has been a significant increase in the overall swimming abilities of our students and we are very grateful to RLSSWA for supporting our schools.
