In Week 3, Mr Charles took the Year 12 Integrated Science class on an excursion around local wetlands. They visited Bells Rapids, Bennett Brook, Sandy Beach Reserve in Bassendean and Lake Gwelup to collect water samples. They will conduct various tests on the samples to see how much phosphate, nitrate and dissolved oxygen there is at each source. This will provide information on the human impact on each area, as well as information about the ecosystem at each location for their first research assessment. Comments are closed.
