On the 16th of August, the Year 7 STEM student went on a fantastic excursion to ECU Mount Lawley. We began with a discussion of the concepts of robotics, coding and programming. Afterwards, we did an unplugged programming activity. This means coding without the need for technology! Soon after we separated into pairs and were assigned to a specific area, each with a different robot. The areas included Edison, Dash, Lego EV3, Bloxorz and Scratch Junior just to name a few. After two hours of coding fun, we arrived back at school, very happy due to the amazing day we had! We would like to thank Zina and the ECU staff for organising another excellent workshop. - Maryana, Year 7 Comments are closed.
